Mobile Reflexology in Templecombe

Have you ever wondered what a reflexologist visiting your home entails?

When I come to visit you in your home, I will bring everything I need with me. All I will require from you is just a small space for the reclining chair.

The session will start with a health and lifestyle consultation, which we will go through together, and this will enable me to understand your medical history, any symptoms you would like to address and what your would like to achieve from your treatment(s). I can then create a treatment plan bespoke to you. Everything we discuss is private and confidential, I do not share your information with anyone.

You can then get comfy in the lovely padded Lafuma Aircomfort reclining chair, your feet will be propped up on a soft bolster and I can also provide something for under your knees for extra support. If, for whatever reason, you would prefer to use your own armchair/bed, this is fine too. I want you to feel relaxed and comfortable as possible.

Your first session will last around 90 minutes, with each subsequent session lasting around an hour.

What I bring with me:

  • Chair
  • Wax
  • Towel
  • Cushions
  • Blanket

I use in the Songbird vegan wax in my treatment, it helps me glide over the reflex points, giving me the right balance of grip and slip. As an added bonus, the wax helps your feet feel lovely and soft afterwards.

Some people love to chat all the way through their session and others will close their eyes and perhaps drift off. The treatment is just as effective either way.

Aftercare advice

To get the maximum benefit from your treatment, it is recommended to follow some aftercare advice.

  • If possible, allow yourself to rest for a couple of hours and have some quality time to yourself.
  • Drink plenty of water as this will help rehydrate the body and flush out any toxins that have been released.
  • Avoid caffeine, alcohol and cigarettes - this are stimulants and will prevent the effectiveness of the treatment.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise and heavy lifting for the rest of the day.

Everyone is different, and how you react to your treatment will be unique to you. Sometimes an individual may have a negative healing reaction to a treatment - a headache, feeling lightheaded, a change in sleep pattern, emotional state. These tend to last no more than 24 hours and drinking plenty of water will help to ease these symptoms.

I always see any reaction to reflexology as a positive as this is an indication that the treatment is working and the body is going through the process of clearing toxins and rebalancing itself, the treatment has activated the body’s own healing power.
